Abstract
I will give a short overview of what is meant by "algorithmic learning" and will then talk on the subject of "computational learning in the limit", a subject researching the fundamental limitation of algorithmic learners. I will give a number of key definitions and state some interesting basic results.
This talk is also an advertisement for a mini series of lectures I plan to give in succeeding weeks, where I will discuss more results in the area and exemplify important proof techniques.
