Abstract

The amount of information in the nowadays world is enormous.
Automatic classification can help. Traditional methods suffer from synonymy,
polysemy and word usage pattern problems. Using ontological knowledge we can try to
match words by sense, reveal synonymy and polysemy. WordNet is well-known ontology
developed by human but it's overcrowded with meanings and mutual relations.
The challenging task is to be able to create ontology automatically, with minimal human
supervising.
