Abstract
Critical points are important to topological features which are described
by the number and order of areas of different flow behavior around it.We
present an approach to detect the different sectors around it.This
approach is based on a piece-wise linear interpolation of the vector
fields arount the critical points.We show examples that this approach can
also treat critical points of a high index.
