Abstract

Many game developers have learned their skills by being active in the "demoscene". Mikael is one of them. He will explore links between the demoscene and the games industry exemplified by his own career. Moving over to games development, the talk will focus on efficient technology development for games. Games for PlayStation 2/Xbox 1 and PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 will be used as case studies.
