Abstract

In this seminar, I will introduce my recent works. First, I will

introduce parallelizing scheme for multi-pass rendering method. Most
of parallel ray-tracing method is based on pixel-based parallel
processing. That is based on each pixel color can calculate
independently. And most of parallel radiosity method is based on that
each form-factor calculation between two patches can be done
independently. However, these parallel methods are derived by finding
parallelizable part of serial algorithm. Therefore, these methods
include object-sharing problem. This is because original serial
algorithm assumes one processor and one flat memory space. I will
introduce non-pixel based, non form-factor based parallel processing
scheme, an object-space parallel processing method. This method
parallelizes rendering equation directly. I will also show some
results and future studies. And other my related works will be also
introduced : ACM Java grande, Graph plotting tool (GP), a proofreading
method with Email (Manued).
