Abstract
This work constitutes a sketch of a unified framework for posing and
solving problems of optimal control in the presence of uncontrolled
disturbances. After laying down the general framework we look closely
at a concrete instance where the controller is a scheduler and the
disturbances are related to uncertainties in task durations.
