Abstract
A common problem in CAGD is the reconstruction CAD model that consists
of B-spline surfaces from scattered point samples e.g. provided by a
laser range scanner. In order to get a suitable reconstruction the
data have to be segmented in to more or less curved regions. These
region have to be approximated by B-spline patches then.
