Abstract:
Open Access (OA) literature is digital, online, free of charge, and free of most copyright and licensing restrictions. In this talk I will give an overview on OA, starting with the "Berlin Declaration". I will focus on the two primary vehicles for delivering OA to research articles, OA journals and OA archives or repositories. In the last part I will adress some legal issues with respect to publication in general and OA.
