Abstract
Recent advances in machine learning (ML) provide both new tools and
new targets for data privacy research. Modern deep learning enables
powerful inference attacks. At the same time, increasing use of ML
models introduces new vulnerabilities and new threats to sensitive data.
This talk will survey recent results and open research problems at the
junction of machine learning and privacy research.
