Michael Ley is a lecturer ("akademischer Rat") at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Trier. His main activity is to maintain the well-known and widely used DBLP bibliography server: http://dblp.uni-trier.de (most will know it from Google searches for a particular author or conference; then the DBLP entry is frequently one of the top hits).
Michael will talk about several aspects of DBLP, in particular, some of the history behind it and a number of interesting and challenging scientific problems that arise in the context of DBLP. If you are looking for real problems with a real application, that really makes a difference, this talk is for you.
