A Psychovisual Evaluation of Tone Mapping Operators

to display high dynamic range images. The aim of this comparison
is to find the parameters and features necessary to include in a robust
all-around tone mapping algorithm. The talk will explain the
development of this project during the past three month.
I will try to explain the basic concepts of tone mapping, the principal
differences among algorithms and their shortcomings,
the progression of our project and the results we hope to obtain.
