Abstract
Extention of the 'modeling distance' in comparative protein structuremodeling will be discussed with a view of incorporating more physical considerations into the modeling process. It is illustrated by the incorporation of an `ab initio` loop modeling method and by an inclusion of solvation effect into structure modeling.
