flightgear (Anders) - Does a flight simulator qualify as a cool website? Well, only if it comes with cool features on its website. This open source FS uses google maps to show the location of current players. It also offers personal statistics and forums and the like.

springdoo (Ingmar) - Writing short articles for a blog? How old-fashioned! Blog with videos and audio! Upload your video/audio recording to any website. Others can then reply to it ... also with an audio/video message!

10minutemail (Imran) - Ever needed an email address just to receive (and confirm) a registration email? Wish you had not given your true email address? This site gives out temporary email addresses ... which are only valid for 10 minutes!
