New for: D3
Graphics Laboratory at the University of British Columbia. The rest of
the talk will be focused on my past work with Alain Fournier and my
current work with Wolfgang Heidrich. I will talk about the Union of
Circles representation, and its uses for shape representation,
simplification, matching and measurement of shape variation. I will
describe two or three sample applications that we have
implemented. One of these applications will also be presented at the
VMV 2001 conference.
