A Retargetable Framework for DSP-Analyzes and Optimizations

Purpose Processors and Application-Specific Processors (ASP).
An important type of ASPs are the Digital Signal Processors (DSP).
In my talk I will shortly introduce the different architecture types
and discuss the future of DSPs. Typical application domains and
hardware characteristics of DSPs will be presented along with their
impact on the task of code generation. In the context of other
modern compilation frameworks for DSPs, I will present our approach
for retargetable code optimizations and analyzes.
