Automatic Texture Atlas Generation for Manifold Surfaces

of fundamental importance on many geometric modeling tasks, e.g.
remeshing or texturing.
In this talk I will present an analysis of the efficiency of recently
developed parameterization methods for disk-like surface patches in
combination with different linear system solvers. Furthermore, I will show
an automatic single-chart and multi-chart approach calculating
low-distortion atlases for manifold surfaces with more general topology.
