last decade. Many solutions have been proposed for the different
aspects related to that field, ranging from fast cloth integration
methods to complex collision handling. However, it is still
challenging to perform simulations in real-time without compromise.
In this thesis, we base our work on fast collision detection methods
which use Layered Depth Images (LDIs). We propose a new approach for
handling cloth self-collisions and collisions between cloth and
deformable volumes.
This work mainly focuses on real-time performance and we achieve to
run simulations at a frame-rate of up to 30 fps, while performing
cloth integration and manipulating self-collisions and collisions on
deformable bodies.
