Abstract

We first present an approach for analyzing the event time series, namely, the times of event occurrences. Interestingly, the event

time series appears in various fields, including neuroscience (action potentials of a neuron), social media analysis (Twitter, Facebook), and
so on. Then, we develop a framework for forecastingretweet activity through the analysis of Twitter dataset(Kobayashi & Lambiotte, ICWSM,
2016). This work is joint work with Renaud Lambiotte.
