Abstract
Identification and categorization of proteins belonging to different classes of kinases(Histidine kinases and serine threonine kinases) in Mycobacterium tuberculosis.Detection of new domains in Kinases was carried out using various computational tools.Other than regular HMM based search which was used exhaustively,Split HMM approach and Comparative
proteomics approach were used. After characterization the newly detected proteins have been grouped into families based on their relationship.
