Many recent methods share the basic approach of optimizing a given model
incrementally guided by some error metrics. A general framework for this
class of algorithms is presented that allows for easy combination of
different predicates to adapt to the needs of a given application while
utilizing the same algorithmic structure, enhancing reusability.
