Abstract

Computer vision is becoming more and more integrated in our everyday life. Moreover, one of its relatively emerging applications areas is image super resolution where given a low resolution input image; a high resolution output is to be algorithmically estimated. To this end, one can investigate the usefulness of incorporating optic flow techniques in general, variational methods in particular, along with some suitable inpainting techniques in order to achieve a better, super resolved image.
