Abstract

Rendering of high quality animation sequences is very

computation intensive task. Traditional antialiased rendering
image might take even a few hours per frame.
Image-Based Rendering (IBR) is an attractive alternative
to derive inbetween frames along an animation. In this work,
we consider an efficient rendering
framework of antialiased animated sequences incorporating
traditional ray tracing and IBR techniques. In particular,
we will focus on the problem of optimal selection of
keyframes based on the image flow data and perceptual considerations.
