We lend a few concepts from philosophy to redefine the task of
searching as associating in a net of terms and websites. We will give an
informal introduction to the consequences this implies regarding the rating
and quality of found matches. Evidently this leads to a naive ansatz for a
search algorithm. I will report about our efforts to build up a prototype,
called iglo, of that kind of search engine and its preliminary results. Even
though we chose the most trivial model, preliminary results turn out to be
quite positive. At the end we will sketch some theoretical problems that arise
in the context of our concept.
