The Exacus Libaries are developed at the MPI since April 2002. In the past years our experimental software has matured and further parts are still under development. The talk concentrates on the upper parts of the project. It does not present the powerful underlying library and mathematical support layers, but starts with GAPS - a module for dealing with points and segments on algebraic curves. It leads to software design, which is also a big issue, when talking about Exacus and its future. The second part of the talk presents current work on ConiX and QuadriX and in the end it closes with open problems.
