Abstract

FlexX, a widely used molecular docking program, uses a scoring function with

only a few parameters. But hydrogen bonds are known to have a wide range of
interaction energies. We present a more diverse scoring scheme without
changing the scoring function itself but only with new subgraphs and new
matchscores. We can increase the linear correlation between score and
experimental binding energies without loss of accuracy.
