Abstract

Selectively emitting discharge plasma is widely used in various fields of technique, technology and science such as laser technology, phototechnique, radiation technology, photochemistry etc. Mathematical modeling of strongly emitting plasma requires detailed research into radiation transport of sophisticated spectral composition in condition of plasma spatial heterogeneity. As a result we get complicated equations that can’t be solved analytical but only by approximate methods. Since these approximate are still time-consuming and are difficult in realization the model can also be simplified.

This paper considers program realization of some of such models based on nonlinear integro-differential equations. The work is focused on the task which deals with the actual problem of correct consideration of radiative transfer in mathematical modeling of radiation processes in plasma of cylindrical configuration. Practically it is possible by substitution of sophisticated accurate equation of transport by more simple approximations. The most common is diffusion approximation which is examined in this paper.
The aims of this work are:
-formulation of accurate and diffusion models;
-development of their difference scheme;
-development of algorithm and its program realization for there models;
-calculation of main characteristics of there models;
-comparison of the calculation result according to these models.
The aims stated in the paper were successfully reached.
