(LaTeX) Abstract:	Reported are experiences on templated implementations for polynomial gcd computation over algebraic extensions within EXACUS. In particular we report on preliminary benchmarks for gcd computation of univariate polynomials comparing the naive approach with a preliminary implementation based on modular arithmetic. The report includes specification of traits classes needed to deal with algebraic coefficients. The presented traits classes are supposed to serve as a design study in order to extend the current framework in the algebraic foundations package of CGAL.
