Abstract

Topic one: face relighting, animation, and color editing

"Let there be light." I will describe a system to capture face reflectance
fields, to relight face interactively, and to animate face among generic
expressions
under varying illumination. The construction of light stage and recovering
of lightmap from single image
will also be discussed. Additionally, I will discuss example-based color
appearance modification for
grayscale, color, or 3D face pictures.

Topic two: rendering of water, boids, and tour into panorama
When I saw a picture with boids and water, I ask myself several questions.
Can I animate the water and the boids?
Can I interact with the water, the boids and navigate into the picture?
Can I direct water, boids and other virtual objects along with a
storyboard?
