Abstract
Abstract: This talk will give an overview of
my work in machine learning with particular emphasis on
problems which also could be of interest in computer
graphics. In particular, I will discuss the approximation
of manifolds by neighborhood graphs constructed from point clouds
and a very recent work about learning manifold-valued mappings
with applications in geometric modelling, motion planning etc.
