Abstract
GPS - Ground Positioning System - changes our daily life by enabling us
to locate our position on a city/road map in an accuracy of few meters.
Mediguide's MPS system brings the precision and principles of a GPS
system to intra-body navigation, the key for life saving percutaneous
cardiac intervention. Mediguide's system is based on an electromagnetic
Medical Positioning System that is able to track sub-millimeter sensors
within the human body and provide spatial position and orientation.
MediGuide's system may assist minimal invasive procedures by enabling
accurate device navigation and 3D perception.
